Rivian Waypoints is Rivian’s destination-charging network, providing convenient Level 2 AC charging at locations where EV drivers spend time, such as hotels, restaurants, parks, attractions and other destinations. The network operates primarily across the United States and Canada, with thousands of Waypoint chargers deployed through Rivian’s partnerships with businesses and property owners.

Rivian Waypoints typically provide up to 11.5 kW of charging power, making them suited to longer stays rather than rapid highway charging. Drivers can locate Waypoints through the Rivian mobile app and vehicle navigation, while compatible Rivian vehicles can authenticate automatically at supported chargers. The network primarily serves Rivian owners and other compatible EV drivers, while helping businesses and destinations attract EV customers by offering convenient on-site charging.
