The Leviton EV40P is a smart Level 2 electric vehicle charging station designed for residential charging. It delivers up to 40 amps and 9.6 kW at 208/240V AC, with an SAE J1772 vehicle connector and a 25-foot charging cable. Its pre-attached NEMA 14-50P input plug connects to a compatible receptacle supplied by a properly rated circuit.

Wi-Fi connectivity enables control through the My Leviton app, supporting convenient charger management. The unit also supports optional RFID access control and includes a mounting bracket and hardware. Its NEMA Type 3R enclosure is designed for indoor or outdoor installation when the manufacturer’s weatherproofing requirements are followed.
