Charge Time Calculator
Find out how long it takes to charge your electric vehicle at home, at a public Level 2 charger, or at a DC fast charger.
Estimated charging time
—
Estimates only. Real charging times vary with temperature, battery condition, and how the charger shares power. DC fast charging uses a simplified charging curve.
How the estimate works
- Level 1 (a standard 120 V outlet) delivers about 1.4 kW; Level 2 uses the charger power you choose, capped at what your vehicle's onboard charger can accept.
- DC fast charging uses your vehicle's published 10–80% time where we have it, limited by the charger's output, and charges more slowly above 80%, as real cars do.
- Cold weather, a hot or cold battery, and shared charger power can all make real sessions longer.
